VASE FLUX WHITE
Brand: Rosenthal studio-line
Flux is a vase created by Harry & Camila for Rosenthal. The couple of artists wanted the coexistence of two radically different forms - an abstract top edge and a geometric bottom edge - that never seem to touch each other.
This design object reveals beautiful contrasts and even exposed without flowers, it remains an exceptional decoration.
About the artist
Harry and Camila met for the first time in 1994 in Milan, where both of them were studying at the Domus Academy. Camila is a Chilean fashion designer whose creations have a pronounced South American identity. Harry, who is Dutch by birth, is a trained designer. What connects the two of them today, apart from their children and a joint design studio, is a passion to come up with exactly the right new form, combining consummate functionality with avant-garde charisma. They also share an almost manic fixation on materials, as visualised in their trend book "Once Material Art". They work with natural as well as man-made fibres and rubber, combining high tech with nature and providing both the textile industry and the world of fashion and design with innovative stimuli.
Rosenthal has continually developed its collections to meet the requirements of global markets and modern consumers. Each of the successful Rosenthal brands, including the Rosenthal studio-line with design oriented, avant-garde services and objects of art in porcelain and glass, the Rosenthal classic with its timelessly beautiful, elegant porcelain collections and Thomas, the Trend Factory with design oriented consumer porcelain, offers contemporary and high quality products. The extensive product range is complemented by the lifestyle collection Rosenthal meets Versace with its luxurious porcelain services and exclusive gift ideas.
